gelatin silver print, with 'Dec 4th - 1915' and 'Kodak Bulls eye Camera' in pencil and a Michael and Jeanne Adams collection stamp on the reverse, framed, 1915; accompanied by a certificate of provenance, signed by Michael and Jeanne Adams (2)

frame: 21 7/8 by 17 7/8 in. (55.6 by 45.5 cm.)
This exceptionally rare, early print, on double-weight paper with a nearly matte surface, is in generally very good condition. It is trimmed to the image and there is miniscule intermittent chipping of the emulsion at the edges. When examined closely, there are some scuffs and very faint silvering.
The reverse shows minor soiling. The following are written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse: 'MJA #0301a'; 'V623'; 'By AA'; and 'Refixed/washed 3/'78'.'
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
