Arabic manuscript on paper, 306 leaves plus 2 fly-leaves, 22 lines to the page, written in naskh in black ink within clouds against a gold ground, ruled in black and gold, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, surah headings in red riqa against a gold ground within cartouches, juz and nifs markers in the margins, marginal texts in nasta’liq within clouds against a gold ground, f.1b and f.2a with a polychrome and gold incipit frame, in lacquer binding decorated with flowers with leather spine
