FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH, small 4to in 8s (193 x 140mm.), black letter, title within typographic border, without final blank, old calf, small section of p.175 torn out but present, slightly stained at beginning, slight worming at lower inner margin occasionally affecting text, upper cover detached, spine rather worn

The work is composed of twenty-six discourses, including number xiii on the need for a standing army; xv on cavalry; xvii on rewards of soldiers; xxi-xxii on relations and wars with the Turks.
