Possibly worked or owned by the Reverened Charles Sturges who is recorded as vicar of Ealing between 1775 and 1797 (Thomas Faulkner, ...Chelsea and its Environs, London, 1810, p.59). The Reverend's initials possibly those worked in the plinth of Trajan's Column.
