now with a rectangular mirror plate, surmounted by Minerva, re-gilt

202cm. high, 174cm. wide; 6ft. 8in., 5ft. 8½in.

Condition Report

An impressive frame extensively redecorated, with a later gilt surface. Replaced elements, notably left arm. Losses, repaired splits and losses to later gesso revealing carved detail beneath, in some instances. The mirror plate possibly associated however not without some age.
