the silvered arched dial with Turkish numerals, signed Lafontaine, 18 Palais-Royal, Paris, the carriage clock movement with lever platform escapement and striking on a gong, No.1369, the ornate case with crescent finial and dome top above spiral pilasters, ogee panels and stepped feet, the whole cast and engraved with animals, figures and birds amidst sinuous scrolls

Condition Report

Dial in good condition. Movement appears to be complete but is dirty and not running, strike requires attention, it will need complete service and overhaul. Case in generally good condition throughout, gilding and silvering rubbed. With a winder.
