Heart-Shaped Pendant with a Bust of Christ and a Tudor Rose

Heart: 3.8cm., 1½in. 6.7cm., 2⅝in. overall, suspended
Overall the condition of the pendant is very good with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are small losses to the enamel throughout. The enamelling of the Tudor rose may have been reapplied. There is some wear to the gilding, including some rubbing to the bust of Christ, in particular to the high points. The front part with the Tudor rose opens to reveal a compartment, there is black residue to the inside which has possibly been applied for reinforcement.
