GREEK, MOUNT ATHOS, 19TH CENTURY
9.5 by 5.8cm., 3¾ by 2¼in.
Overall the condition of the boxwood is very good with only very minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor losses to the wood, in particular to the edges at the top and to the right hand corner of the cross beam at the top (on the side with Christ’s baptism). There are a few further minor chips to the bottom edges.
