comprising twenty-five examples (three others missing) on a card with handwritten names, in gilt-tooled leather case, 11.5cm., 4½in. long, together with a small handwritten note: 'Given to Henrietta Sophia Benfield'

Henrietta Sophia Benfield (1796-1857) was the daughter of Paul Benfield (1741-1810) of Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, M.P. variously for Cricklade, Malmesbury and Shaftesbury between 1780 and 1802, and his wife, Mary Frances, daughter of Henry Swinburne (1743-1803) of Hamsterley, Durham. Miss Benfield was married at Worcester on 24 January 1822 to Robert Berkeley (1794-1874).
