A horizontal scratch with associated paint loss is visible above the signature. There are frame abrasions with associated paint loss along the edges. Old stretcher bar marks are visible in places. There is scattered craquelure throughout which is most pronounced in the sky. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt with spots of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals areas of retouching to the edges and corners as well as some scattered spots of retouching to the sky and foreground. Unframed.
