The edges of the sheet are uneven. There is a pinhole to each corner and a few minor tears at the edges. The sheet has discoloured and there is a layer of surface dirt with handling marks along the edges. Scattered foxing is visible throughout. The pencil underdrawing and the artist's pentimenti are visible throughout. Held behind glass in a blue-painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
