ALEXANDER EVGENIEVICH YAKOVLEV
stamped with the artist's Chinese stamp l.r.
sanguine and charcoal on card
63 by 50.5cm, 24¾ by 20in.
The card has discoloured unevenly. There are other small losses to the edges and corners. A couple of diagonal tears can be seen in the middle of the right edge. There are pinholes in all four corners. A faint diagonal scratch runs across the figure's left thigh. A further faint scratch can be seen to the right of her right ankle and there are other more minor scratches elsewhere. There is a layer of surface dirt with spots of dirt and handling marks in places and a few black smudges in the upper right quadrant. Held in a simple wooden frame behind Plexiglass. Unexamined out of frame.
