A PAIR OF GILT-METAL MOUNTED TORTOISESHELL SNUFF BOXES, FRENCH, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Both circular and inset with en grisaille landscapes painted on a prepared blue ground, one depicting a pleasure park with tempietto and obelisk, the other with goat-herds beside a river, both signed l.c. R. Sully, late 18th century, apparently unmarked
