Very good condition for an object of this type and age. General marks, nicks, scratches and abrasions throughout consistent with age and use. Old loss to the tip as shown in catalogue illustration. Exceptionally fine layered glossy aged patina with crusty remains of red and white pigment. Encrusted old remains of an insect casing on one side.
