This 1954 film noir was directed by Don Siegel, and stars Ida Lupino, Steve Cochran and Howard Duff. The story follows two detectives who steal thousands of dollars from a dead counterfeiter. They get assigned to look into the case of the missing cash. If this isn't complicated enough, one of them gets involved with a money-grabbing singer, and the other gets a guilty conscience over what they have done.
