The copper plate is flat and stable with a couple of dents on the upper and right hand margins. The paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is slightly discolored. Inspection under UV light reveals 2 campaigns of restoration, the older of which consists of retouchings that fluoresce green in Christ's chest and in his face. The more recent campaign seems to consist of darker retouchings in the background notably to a damage at centre right, and to a handful of areas to his hair, around his ear, and his forehead. In overall fair condition.
