Overall the condition of the wood is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is evidence of past worming in areas, in particular to the stomach of the Grace on the left and to the head, shoulder and back of the middle Grace. There is further minor worming to the left bottom side of the relief, where some fill has been applied. There are some chips and minor losses to the gilt wood frame, including to the inside of the frame at the top of the relief, where there is also a small stable split. There is flaking and some wear to the gilding in areas.
