The pastel has been well preserved and carefully presented. There is occasional surface dirt to the sheet and three very small paper losses (which can only be seen on very close inspection). There are two small tears to the sheet, the first measures circa 7 mm, and is located at the lower edge. The second measures 3 mm and is located at the upper edge of the composition. Please note, this work has not been examined out of its frame. The gilt-wood frame is a little worn.
