The black silk satin clutch measuring approximately 8¼ x 5½ x ¾ inches, fitted with a clasp designed as a watch, set with a venetian blind style cover concealing a square dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands, accented with malachite cabochons and black lacquer, opening to reveal a cream silk satin interior with several pockets and a matching pocket mirror, mechanical movement, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 1360, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1930.
