Set with a cushion-cut diamond weighing 6.26 carats, shouldered by single-cut diamonds, size 6, signed Cartier, numbered 283837; circa 1925.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 2201612832 dated September 30, 2019 stating that the diamond is I color, I1 clarity. Together with a letter from the GIA stating that the diamond has been determined to be Type IIb.
In good condition, with light scuffs to the mounting, and the shank slightly thinned. Metal tests as platinum. Signature is heavily worn and only visible under close inspection. The accenting single-cut diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.15 carat are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2201612832 dated September 30, 2019 stating that the diamond is I color, I1 clarity. Together with a letter from the GIA stating that the diamond has been determined to be Type IIb.
