Condition report

In good condition, with surface scratches and areas of minor tarnish to the reverse side of the mountings, and some small areas of solder where carrier fitting has been adjusted. Mounting of clips test as platinum. The eight emerald-cut sapphires, ranging in calculated weight from approximately 0.50 to 1.30 carats. The sapphires are medium blue, eye clean to slightly included, with minor abrasions to facet edges visible under magnification. The diamonds, estimated to weight a total of approximately 8.25 carats, are approximately G-J color, predominantly VS-SI clarity. Dimensions of clips approximately 1¾ x 1½ inches each. Length of double clip-brooch approximately 3½ inches. The brooch carrier needs adjusting on one side and doesn't fit the two clips securely.
