The pendant surmounted by an openwork disc, centering a round diamond of brown hue, featuring pavé-set diamonds, suspending cascading briolette diamonds of brown hue, capped and accented by round diamonds, highlighted with a round diamond of yellow hue, suspended from lines of bezel-set round diamonds, further decorated on one side with faceted diamond beads of brown hue, length 18½ inches, signed Cartier, numbered 03408, with French assay and workshop marks.
Surya is a Sanskrit word that means the Sun.

In good condition with scratching and abrasions to the metal commensurate with light wear. The clasp stamped PT950 and with French assay mark for platinum. The round diamonds estimated to weigh a total 8.60 carats . The white diamonds are approximately E-F color, VVS-VS clarity. The round diamond of brown hue is medium very slightly orangy brown, VS clarity. The faceted diamond beads and briolette diamonds of brown hue are of decorative quality. The round diamond of yellow hue is medium vivid orangy yellow, VS clarity. Please note that the diamonds of brown and yellow hues have not been tested for natural origin of color. Pendant total length measuring approximately 4 inches. A photocopy of a Cartier service invoice for the necklace is available upon request.
