AFRICAN STUDY, ELEPHANTS
ripolin on paper
52 by 64cm.; 20¼ by 25¼in.
Executed in 1963.
The sheet has been laid down onto a supportive backing card, which is, in turn, adhered to the mount with strips of adhesive tape along the upper and lower edges. There is a tiny, very faint scratch just below an elephant's right proper tusk with one or two possible further extremely minor instances elsewhere. There may be light surface dust in places. This excepting, the work appears in excellent overall condition.
The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame.
