The present Speedmaster reference 2998-6 FAP, or Fuerza Aérea del Perú stands as an exceptionally collectible piece. The Peruvian Airforce was created in 1929 and has actively protected its nation since, taking part in military conflicts such as the Peruvian-Ecuadorian War, the Cold War and the Cenepa War to name but a few. Omega supplied the FAP mostly with CK 2915 references, making the present watch an extremely rare iteration of an already elusive reference.
