boldly carved depicting buddha seated in vajraparyankasana on a double-lotus base within a recessed grotto framed by overhanging craggy rocks, his hands held in dhyana mudra, dressed in a long flowing robe falling in loose folds over his arms and legs, the reverse carved with jagged rockwork and a small pine tree, the stone a dark spinach-green tone with light green and dark inclusions
Height 22.6 cm, 8⅞ in.
There are a few nicks to the extremities. The actual colour is less yellow to the catalogue illustration.
