the recumbent animal carved in the round with its head turned to the back rendered with a curved row of bosses extending down the body to delineate the spine, terminating in a bushy combed tail, the polished stone a pale celadon tone with russet highlights
Length 9.1 cm, 3⅝ in.
There are some nicks beneath rear legs, and some light wear to the surface. The stone is more pale than the catalogue illustration.
