JIAQING SEAL MARK AND PERIOD
清嘉慶 青花卷草雲龍紋盤 《大清嘉慶年製》款
painted to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a stylised three-clawed dragon writhing amongst ruyi clouds and foliate scrolls, encircled by a double-line border repeated at the rim, the reverse decorated with two dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue
Diameter 19.2 cm, 7½ in.
There are some minor firing imperfections, including pinholes to the rim and a few tiny burst bubbles, and nicks to the footrim. There are also some light wear to the surface.
