the pear-shaped body supported on a spreading foot and tapering to a waisted neck and flared rim, richly enamelled to the body with three scholars playing go, together with two male attendants holding covered boxes to the side, the reverse decorated with prominent pine trees emerging from colourful jagged rocks
Height 34.5 cm, 13½ in.
There is some very light wear to the iron-red rockwork and some scattered firing imperfections including
iron-spots and glaze pin-holes.
