PAIR OF NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND EARRINGS
Set with two semi-baroque drop shaped natural pearls measuring approximately 13.3 x 9.3 mm and 14.0 x 10.1 mm, capped with rose-cut diamonds, suspended from lines of single-cut diamonds topped with old European-cut diamonds; circa 1900 with later added posts.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 6203568065 dated September 20, 2019 stating that the two pearls are natural, saltwater.
In good condition given the age of these earrings. The caps mounted in silver topped gold, the lines of diamonds mounted in 14 karat gold. Posts and butterfly backings are later added, one backing stamped 14KT the other stamped 18K. The natural pearls are of cream body color, with fair skin and some blemishes in the form of uneven nacre layers; pearls are drilled. Length of pearls not possible to measure due to mounting. The old European and single-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.50 carat, approximately G-J color, predominantly SI clarity. The rose-cut diamonds of decorative quality. Length approximately 1⅞ inches. Accompanied by GIA report no. 6203568065 dated September 20, 2019 stating that the two pearls were found to be natural, saltwater.
