Lined. The surface presents well and appears fresh and bright. Barely perceptible, horizontal craquelure. A few repairs are slightly discolored and visible to the naked eye: a 7 x 7 inch sideways 'X' at upper left; a 1 inch area at lower left; and a 1 inch area on figure's proper left elbow. Under UV: varnish fluoresces somewhat unevenly. The aforementioned repairs have been finely inpainted. Additionally there is a small area of inpainting at the base of the figure's neck and a very few isolated dots and dashes of retouching in the background. Ready to hang in its current state.
