Sheet: (i) 18 by 23¾in., 46 by 60cm; (ii) 10 by 10in., 25.5 by 25.5cm

The sheet has discolored and there are minor creases to the corners. There is minor creasing in places elsewhere. One corner of the red tank has become slightly detached from the sheet. Minor glue stains are visible in places. These are inherent to the artist's technique. There are the remnants of adhesive tape in places on the reverse. The sheet is hinged to the mount in all four corners and along the edges. Held in a gold-colored frame behind Perspex.
The work is executed on the reverse of a map which is undulating slightly. There are pinholes in the corners and the center of the top edge. There are minor nicks to the edges and creases to the corners. The propeller, the wings and the tail of the plane have become partially detached from the sheet. There is staining throughout, most notably what appears to be a grease stain in the lower right, as well around the glued elements. There is also dark staining to the crease in the lower right corner. Held in a simple black frame behind glass.
