Overall in good condition. The rug presents with a flexible handle and with signs of age and wear consistent with age and gentle use. The carpet pile is slightly matted and with light surface stains throughout. The center of the rug with areas of minor discoloration, the largest measuring 17 x 13 in. approximately, and superficial loss to the pile in an area measuring approximately 1/2 in. The side edges with areas of unwoven fabric and some superficial loss to the pile, the largest area measuring approximately 10 in. long. The flat woven ends are folded under and sewn, with areas where fabric partially unwoven and not visible unless flipped. The rugh has been professionally and sensitively cleaned earlier this year.
