Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. This fully functional set presents with an opportunity for collectors to acquire four side chairs closely based on a popular design by Sornay. The mahogany backrests present with light scratches throughout consistent with gentle use. The proper top right corner of one backrest with a small indentation measuring approximately 1/4 inch wide and not visually distracting. The chairs were recently reupholstered with a fabric upholstery consistent with the original design and in excellent condition. The ebonized feet with very light and occasional areas of discoloration concentrated to the sides. The gilt elements with occasional loss to the gilt surface consistent with age.
