This photograph, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. There is a faint brown discoloration in the upper margin which extends into the image on Dietrich's forehead. Scattered deposit of original retouching deposits are visible.
There are brown spots in the left and right margins, possibly from processing. There is a crease in the upper margin, 2 glossy deposits in the lower margin, and minor wear to the margin edges and corners.
The notations in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse read as follows: 'P. 448A.'; '19,5 x 29,5'; and 'AKG 96-0108.'
