the light jade hilt carved and set with dark jade in a floral design with silver-inlaid stems and outlines, the double-edged watered steel tapering blade with central double-ridge, gold inscription and foliate designs at the forte

Condition Report

Some of the silver inlay and dark-jade inlay missing or restored (with minor adhesive remnants in some cases), some abrasion to extremities and edges with few minor hairline cracks, the blade with patches of oxidisation, some rubbing to gilding near forte, as viewed.
