1841 - 1919
signed E.L. Henry and dated 1900 (lower right)
oil on canvas
16 by 25 inches
(40.6 by 63.5 cm)
The canvas is lined and the edges are covered with tape. There is fine surface cracking throughout, which is most noticeable in the sky. Under UV: there are few pindots of inpainting in the sky, there are some lines and dots of inpainting along the lower edge. Other pigments fluoresce but appear to be the artist's original work.
