Overall the condition of the bronze is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is particular dirt to the crevices. There is some minor wear to the gilding and a greenish residue at the proper right arm of Salammbo. There is some further greenish residue to the reverse at Matho's knee and at Salammbo's veil. There is very minor wear and some greening to the edge of the base. There are a few minor nicks and scratches to the surface.
