Overall the condition of the marble is very good, with only very minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some minor dark veining to the marble, consistent with the material, including to the front of the base, to the proper right arm, to the proper left thigh and to the drapery at the back at the bottom. There are a few naturally occurring inclusions, including to the proper right arm and the drapery at the front. There are minor chips and abrasions to the edges and corners of the base.
