Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is greening to the bronze, in particular to the crevices, including in the mane. There is rubbing to the patina, in particular to the high points, including the ridge of the back and the tail. There is particular dirt to the top of the base, and there is some dryness to the patina. There is wear to the patina at the corners of the base.
