Sotheby’s and LITO present a new release of LIMITED editions by Daniel Arsham, featuring two new works, Jungle Sculpture (2026) and Canyons of the Unknown (2026).

Drawing on the archaeological language that has become central to his practice over the past decade, Arsham creates images that exist outside a fixed moment in time. Suspended somewhere between past and future, his works invite viewers to imagine their own narratives, encountering familiar forms as though they were discovered in an unknown era.

Both Jungle Sculpture and Canyons of the Unknown reflect this approach, presenting evocative scenes that feel at once ancient, contemporary and speculative.

Selected by the artist for their ability to expand the visual vocabulary of his editions, the two works introduce new palettes while remaining rooted in the themes that have defined his broader body of work.

Structured around carefully balanced compositions that guide the viewer through the image, they create a sense of movement and perspective, drawing the eye across the landscape and into the narrative space of the painting. The result is an exclusive series of works that feel cinematic in atmosphere, inviting viewers to place themselves within the scene and imagine what came before, or what may come after.

Produced using LITO’s proprietary Hi-Rnd© technology, the editions bring together texture, relief, color and surface in a new original body of work. Presented on paper and framed in black aluminum, each edition captures the depth and material presence of Arsham’s paintings while offering a distinctive viewing experience.
