Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The sheet has slightly discolored with age as to be expected of a work from this period. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges most notably at the lower left edge where there is a 5 inch area of light creasing extending from bottom left corner to bottom edge as well a 1 1/4 inch partial tear, 1 1/2 inches from top right edge on the top edge. Under very close inspection there are a few scattered areas of light skinning to the sheet most notably at the top left corner and bottom right and top right corners, likely from adhesive tape. In addition the corners are dulled. There are scattered media accretions and areas of soiling on the sheet most notably on the upper right corner and midway along the left edge. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat at each corner. Framed under Plexiglas.
