• Movement: frosted gilded, two mainspring barrels, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, signed J. Chappuis, Genève• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, polychrome enamel painted centre depicting a map of the Iberian peninsula, blued steel hands• Case: silver, the front with large glazed aperture surrounded by outer black enamel Arabic numerals and inner red enamel 24-hour ring, plain case back, gold hinges and crown, glazed hinged cuvette, case maker's mark LF, numbered 2715

Condition

Movement: not running at time of cataloguing, however, if the hands are advanced manually, the movement will then run for a short period. Dial: hairline crack running inwards from the edge by 3 o'clock with a small star crack at the edge from the same hairline, couple of small scratches. Minute hand with a crack to its centre. Case: tarnished and with small marks and scratches throughout, covers close securely.
