Description

The lozenge shaped pendant of openwork scroll and foliate design, set at the center with a cushion-shaped milky white sapphire, accented with circular-cut and pear-shaped rubies, applied with blue, green and cream enamel, signed Carlo & Arthur Giuliano, fitted case; the other set with an oval amethyst, supporting three drop shaped pearls, applied with green and white guilloché enamel, signed C.&.A. G, case stamped C&A Giuliano; the brooch set with a cushion-shaped ruby, accented with circular-cut diamonds, detachable brooch fitting, fitted case stamped E. Roger.

Condition

Accompanied by an Asprey certificate. Two pendants signed C&A G. Milky white sapphire measuring approximately 10.47 x 9.52 x 5.32mm, calculated to weigh approximately 4.3 carats. Pear-shaped ruby measuring approximately 8.25 x 5.71 x 3.40mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.2 carats. Some minor nicks and abrasions. Amethyst measuring approximately 10.95 x 7.66 x 5.59mm, calculated to weigh approximately 2.5 carats. Ruby measuring approximately 6.49 x 6.51 x 1.91mm, calculated to weigh approximately 0.9 carats. Some signs of tarnish to the metal. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams. One fitted case stamped Asprey, one case stamped C&A Giuliano, and a fitted case stamped E Roger Frabricant Orfüvre, 71 Faub St Honoré Paris. Case Monogrammed A.N 23 Mars 1900. Total gross weight approximately 17 grams.
