Description

The front set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, surmounted with emerald beads and natural pearls, respectively topped with seed pearls or green enameled beads, to a later added double row bandeau composed of natural pearls, length approximately 440mm, signed Cartier, French assay marks for platinum.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 109351, stating that the pearls measuring from approximately 7.05 - 7.80mm to 3.60 - 3.70mm, were found to be natural, saltwater, and that the emeralds measuring from approximately 12.10 x 13.80 x 16.60mm to 6.80 x 11.95 x 15.10mm, are of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Signed Cartier Paris, French assay marks for platinum. Semi-transparent to semi-translucent emeralds with surface-reaching inclusions. Later added double row bandeau. Natural pearls and seed pearls of cream body colour, typical surface blemishes and growth marks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 16.00 - 18.00 carats, on average G-H colour, SI clarity, a few I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Overall, in good condition. Gross weight approximately 105 grams.
