Description

The demi-parure comprising: a necklace of foliate design, the front set with cabochon rubies framed with cushion-shaped diamonds, length approximately 460mm, two diamonds deficient; and a pair of pendent earrings, post and butterfly fittings; the ring set with an oval-shaped ruby enhanced with single-cut and rose diamonds, size 53. 

Condition

Demi-parure: Rubies estimated to weigh a total of approximately 20.00 - 22.00 carats, with typical surface-reaching inclusions.Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 22.00 - 24.00 carats, on average H-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Two diamonds deficient. Later altered. Ring: ruby measuring approximately 12.35 x 9.73 x 3.80, calculated to weigh approximately 3.80 carats, with typical surface-reaching inclusions. Diamonds bright and lively. Total gross weight approximately 76 grams.
