Description

Designed as a double headed eagle, set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, framed with rose diamonds, enhanced with two seed pearls and ruby eyes, supporting a briolette sapphire.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 108648 and Gübelin report no. 19080050, stating that the briolette sapphire measuring approximately 9.50 - 10.75 x 13.75mm is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating, the SSEF report stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire measuring approximately 13.80 x 10.90 x 8.70mm is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Sapphires abraded on the facet edges. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats, on average J-L colour, I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor signs consistent with age and wear. Gross weight approximately 34 grams.
