Description

Set with a cabochon sapphire weighing 64.01 carats, framed by two intertwined ribbons set with marquise-shaped or tapered baguette diamonds.

Provenance

Acquired by the family of the present owner in the mid 1950s

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no.110276, stating that the cabochon sapphire, weighing 64.01 carats, measuring 24.40 x 18.22 x 13.67mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. For more information on the sapphire please refer to SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.00 - 9.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 33 grams.
