Condition

The canvas is not lined, and examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. The canvas is richly textured. There is some craquelure in the thickest areas of black pigment, most notably to the second rider from the left. There is some minor frame abrasion to the edges of the canvas, which are not visible when framed. This work is in overall good condition and may benefit from a light clean.
