Condition

Executed on cream wove paper and laid down on card. The sheet is lightly time-stained and there is further discolouration to the edges caused by the old mount, not visible when framed. There are minor spots of foxing to the background, predominantly in the upper right quadrant and towards the centre of the right edge. There is evidence of fading of the pigments in places, notably the yellow of the sails. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
