Condition

The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals several spots and lines of retouching along the extreme edges; as well as some fine lines of retouching to the sky, most prominently to the large cloud at the centre. There are some further spots of retouching to the left of the two boats, and to the pier at the far left of the composition. There are very fine lines of stable craquelure throughout. This work is in overall good condition.
